The Ministry of External Affairs (MEXTA) is in charge of everything external to the Cannabis Embassy. The MEXTA is part of the Government of the Cannabis Embassy. The MEXTA is composed by the following subsidiary bodies:

• Permanent Mission to Vienna, New-York, Nairobi, The Hague (CBD-Secretariat, FAO, ILO, OHCHR & Human Rights Treaty Bodies, UNCTAD, UNESCO, UPOV, South Centre, WHO, WIPO)
• Permanent Mission to Geneva, Paris, Rome, Montreal (Commission on Narcotic Drugs, ECOSOC, ICJ, INCB, UN OLA, UNEP, UNGA, UN-Habitat, UNODC, UN Secretary-General). The PM-Geneva is assisted by the Commission on Biopiracy.

Bodies not yet formally constituted: Council on Ecology, Environment, & Climate (including Commission on Agriculture); Council on Science & Education; Council on Economic Affairs (including Commission on Taxation).
