The Cannabis Embassy’s Permanent Mission in Vienna (PM Vienna) is the Cannabis Embassy Government‘s body (under the Ministry of External Affairs) mandated to interact with international organisations headquartered in Vienna (Wien) as well as New-York, Nairobi, and The Hague (Den Haag).
Currently, the PM Geneva is engaged with:
- CND. Commission on Narcotic Drugs (Vienna)
- ECOSOC. UN Economic and Social Council (New-York)
- ICJ-CIJ. International Court of Justice (Den Haag)
- INCB. International Narcotics Control Board (Vienna)
- OLA. Office of Legal Affairs (New-York)
- UNEP. United Nations Environment Programme (Nairobi)
- UNGA. United Nations General Assembly (New-York)
- UN-Habitat. United Nations Human Settlements Programme (Nairobi)
- UNODC. United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (Vienna)
- UNSG. United Nations Secretary-General (New-York)
Ministry of External Affairs
The Cannabis Embassy’s Ministry of External Affairs (MEXTA) is in charge of everything external to the Cannabis Embassy. The MEXTA is part of the Government of the Cannabis Embassy. The MEXTA is composed by the following subsidiary bodies:
- Permanent Mission to Vienna, New-York, Nairobi, The Hague (Commission on Narcotic Drugs, ECOSOC, ICJ, INCB, UN OLA, UNDP, UNGA, UN-Habitat, UNODC, UN Secretary-General)
- Permanent Mission to Geneva, Paris, Rome, Montreal (CBD-Secretariat, FAO, ILO, OHCHR & Human Rights Treaty Bodies, UNCTAD, UNEP, UNESCO, UPOV, South Centre, WHO, WIPO). The PM-Geneva is assisted by the Commission on Biopiracy.
In addition, there are bodies which have not yet been formally constituted: Council on Ecology, Environment, & Climate (including Commission on Agriculture); Council on Science & Education; Council on Economic Affairs (including Commission on Taxation).
