The Region “Sedenegi” takes its name from a Latin term, itself an Arabised form of the Persian šāh dānag (the king of grains/seeds) which was once the preferred term for consumable hemp fruiting tops in Europe and the Mediterranean.
Variations: šedenegi, šahdānaŷ, sabdenegū, sadenegū, ꝓscehedenigi, etc.
Region Sedenegi spreads across the northern tip of Africa and western tip of Eurasia, through storied coastlines and fertile valleys surrounding the Mediterranean and the Baltic, interconnected seas linked by ancient trade routes which once carried seeds and wisdom of the plant. A bridge of cultures where the “queen of seeds” was brought from the regions Ganja, Bangue, Mariguana, discovered and rediscovered time and again, but also the region where international prohibition originated.
The Administrative Regions were approved on 4 Sept. 2024 in ✅ Decision 2024/GOV/13/01 to balance cannabis history, geography, politics, and culture.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MINTA) is in charge of everything internal to the Cannabis Embassy. The MINTA is part of the Government of the Cannabis Embassy and is composed by the following subsidiary bodies:

- CEPSAC (Cannabis Embassy’s Private Sector Advisory Council)
- Council on Embassy Finances & Administration
- Constitutional Council
- Library & Archive (Bibliothecas Archivumque ex Legationis Cannabis)
Bodies not yet formally constituted: Council on Communications; Council on Justice & Human Rights. Body suspended: Strategic Planning Commission.
