The Strategic Planing Commission has been in charge of drafting two documents:
- a short-term Plan of Action (2024) for the first year following the Proclamation of the Cannabis Embassy
- a long-term Global Cannabis Strategy (2025–2030).
The Commission met on Wednesday 17 April 2024; Wednesday 1 May 2024; Sunday 5 May 2024. The Plan of Action was then shared for feedback and consultation. The Plan was approved in Government meeting on 8 August (✅ Decision 2024/GOV/12/08), and is presented below.
In addition, the Draft 2025-2030 Global Cannabis Strategy was pre-approved and sent to consultations, for approval in 2025. The Strategic Planning Commission has now finalised its work and suspended its activities.
